The story of Vicente Faria Vinhos begun in the early 19th Century, when Vicente’s ancestors began producing wine in the Douro Valley region in Northern Portugal.at the Douro Valley and has been passed through 7 generations.
Unlike most children, Vicente always knew that the day would come when he would run his own winery, just like his parents, grandparents and great grandparents had done for more than 200 years. In 2001 Vicente Faria Vinhos, Lda. was founded, and it has been a story of success since day one.
Starting in the same family vineyard, Vicente Faria Vinhos is now the 7th biggest exporter and produces wine in several regions in Portugal.
Over 98% of the wines are exported to Europe, Canada, U.S.A., Brazil and South East Asia and enjoy being ranked #1 by volume of sales in several countries.
The wines have received many awards, medals and points, but the most important continues to be clients satisfaction.
